NOTE: These instructions are applicable to Ruckus ZoneDirector 9.8 and later versions. It does not support older versions
RADIUS Configuration
Click on the 'Create' button in the 'Configure > AAA Servers' section
Enter 'OBIFI-RADIUS' in the 'Name' field.
Select 'RADIUS' as the 'Type..
Choose 'PAP' as the 'Auth Method'
Enable 'Backup RADIUS support'
Enter 138.197.180.226 in the 'First Server IP Address' field
Set the 'Port' to '1812'
Enter 'YeT2dXVs6D' in the 'Shared Secret' field.
Confirm the same secret in the 'Confirm Secret' field.
Click 'OK' to save.
Click 'Create' again.
Enter 'OBIFI-RADIUS-ACCT' in the 'Name' field.
Select 'RADIUS Accounting' as the 'Type'
Enable 'Backup RADIUS support'
Enter '138.197.180.226' in the 'First Server IP Address' field
Set the 'Port' to '1813'
Enter 'YeT2dXVs6D' in the 'Shared Secret' field.
Confirm the same secret in the 'Confirm Secret' field.
Click 'OK' to save.
Hotspot Configuration
From the menu, go to 'Hotspot Services' and then click 'Create'
Enter 'OBIFI-PORTAL' in the 'Name' field
Choose 'none' for 'Smart Client Support'
Enter http://portal-app.obifi.io as the 'Login Page'.
Set http://portal-app.obifi.io/success as the 'Redirect to the following URL'.
Select 'OBIFI-RADIUS' as the 'Authentication Server'
Choose 'OBIFI-RADIUS-ACCT' as the 'Accounting Server'
Choose 'Full' for 'Wireless Client Isolation'
Add '*.obifi.com' to the 'Walled Garden' section
Add '*.obifi.io' to the 'Walled Garden' section
Click 'OK' to save
Wireless Configuration
Go to the 'Wireless LANs' page from the menu and click 'Create'
Provide a 'Name'
Enter a name you want users to see as 'ESSID'
Select 'Hotspot (WISPr)' for 'Type'
Choose 'Open' for 'Method'
Choose 'Open' for 'Encryption'
Select 'OBIFI-PORTAL' as the 'Hotspot Service'
Set 'High' as the 'Priority'
Enter '120' for 'Inactivity Timeout'
ZoneDirector CLI Commands
Connect to ZoneDirector via SSH and apply the following commands:
$ enable
$ config
$ no hotspot_redirect_https
$ wlan “XXXX” (Replace 'XXXX' with the ESSID you entered earlier)
$ called-station-id-type ap-mac
$ end
